A brief description of yesterday…

I perched upon a clifftop in the afternoon sun and watched as a mist sailed across the ocean and make a port of call.  From my height I couldn’t tell if it touched the beach or simply ghosted above, yet it enveloped me in a veil of cumulus wonder.  Through this opaque curtain people became shadows that danced upon the sand and frolicked in and out of the tide as the waves numbed their toes and chased them again and again.

The brisk dew that now shrouded me cooled the redness the sun had sealed me with just moments before and what should have been a sting became a soothing balm of aloe.  I let the earth and air be as they are and I became One with the universe.  I tasted the stardust of creation as I breathed in the same air as all life before and around me. It is good to be in tune with the Peace within, for it resonates in harmony with the Peace without.  Namaste!

  10. Says a lot that with a change in conditions you were perfectly content, whatever the weather! It’s a nice place to be. How about using/ remembering this groundedness and contentment in everyday life? Particularly when nature’s dynamics can become blotted out and you feel all adrift with the stuff that comes your way. That peaceful connection is always there, should you choose to be a part of it. Though, there are days that this can feel near impossible!!
