A beautiful day….

I had to unplug for a bit and get out this afternoon.  I went for a walk to the park with a book (Dragon Keeper by Robin Hobb), and sat in the sunshine for awhile.  The sky was brilliant blue with the half moon like a pearl pendant just captivating the attention from the perfect setting surrounding it.  It is always a marvelous display when there are clear skys and the Sun and the Moon share a day together.  I find the suggestion of Lover’s and Duality throughout this universe we live in or to the extent we understand it.  I know I have a vision for these things because Love is the predominant influence in my Heart, in my Soul, and the purpose of my Life, so it is natural for me to see the Sun and the Moon as Lovers and to be compelled by their affair when they are allowed to share a moment together rather than so often apart.

The Sun is the Lover and the Moon is the Beloved.  The Sun gives it’s Love to the Moon and the Moon reflects that Love.  I’m not the first to make such suggestions or see poetic motion to our Universe, which makes it all the more meaningful that for thousands of years people have looked up into the heavens an gazed upon the same Lovers in the same affair that I take such pleasure in adoring now.  It is unifying in a sense and humbles me.

I must admit I only read a few pages, a chapter; the rest of my time was spent admiring the Moon and listening to the birds sing their part of the serenade, their own piece of the Love’s Chorus to the Beloved.  I found some moments of repose, which I always cherish, a rest in the song of Life, a Peace of Mind for me, and a moment of passion for the Lovers.  It is the beauty I cherish most in this drama; and I love that I’m a romantic that can appreciate what has taken place in this space and time today.  My prayer you all shared in it as well.
